ABOUT THE CHINA GALLERY

The China Gallery brings the fine art of mainland China to the Americas.  We specialize in contemporary painting and graphics from some of China's most distinguished artists. The gallery was established in 2006. While still a "work in progress," the China Gallery hopes to present a new look into the contemporary art scene of mainland China, shifting away from traditional brushwork paintings, and focusing on new styles and techniques that reflect the creativity of today's China. Mr. Lee and Ms. Hi Mao are both working closely with some of China's more distinguished art scholars to identify and acquire a gallery collection unlike others. To date, they have traveled to Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Xi'an and Lijiang to acquire works for the gallery collection.
